Festival of Ideas For A New City | Compost Canteen

Markus and Daniel Freitag, brothers and creators of fashionable Freitag messenger bags made of 100% recycled materials (bike tubes, truck tarps and car seat belts), cook soup for the festival visitors. As a side product waste is produced and composted on site. Come eat with them or even grab one of the limited bags to start your own compost efforts. Eventually the New York made soil will be used for a special project. A project developed in conjunction with the Festival of Ideas for a New City
