Diedrich Diederichsen lives and works in Vienna and Berlin where he writes on music, art and politics. His most recent book Körpertreffer – Zur Ästhetik der nachpopulären Künste (To Hit the Body – Aesthetics After Popular Art) was published in 2017.

Nicole Smythe-Johnson is an independent curator, art writer and PhD student in the Department of Art History at the University of Texas at Austin. She was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica and her work focuses on artistic practice within the Caribbean.
