Swiss Institute is pleased to present the first New York solo exhibition of Jordan Wolfson. The newly commissioned film project, untitled false document, 2008 encompasses the entire exhibition space.
Jordan Wolfson (born 1980) is based in New York and Berlin. He has had solo exhibitions at Art Basel Statements 2007 (with T293, Naples), Kunsthalle Zurich, Galleria dŽArte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, Johann Koenig Gallery, and Yvon Lambert Gallery. Select group exhibitions include The Whitney Biennial (2006), New York; the 2nd Biennial of Contemporary Art in Moscow (2007); Learn to Read, Tate Modern (2007); Stop & Go, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin (2007); and Passengers, CCA Wattis Institute (2008).
On the occasion of the exhibition, an illustrated catalogue will be published with contributions by Maxwell Graham, Beatrix Ruf, and Philippe Vergne, edited by Max Andrews / Latitudes.
